Sandgärdskolan is a school for grades 7–9 with a strong sense of community and good academic results. Our students are motivated and eager to develop. We are looking for you who want to help them succeed. Our school has five or six parallel classes per grade and currently has approximately 410 students. What you can expect from Sandgärdskolan is a workplace with a positive atmosphere, where we work together based on current pedagogical research and combine analog and digital methods. We have a positive, safe, and permissive climate.

You will work as a special needs teacher. We place great value on your commitment and pedagogical competence. You enjoy being a teacher and meeting young and adult students with different backgrounds and prerequisites. In your work, you plan, implement, and evaluate teaching together with other teachers. A significant part of your working hours will be based in Sandgärdskolan’s flexible support unit (Flex). In this unit, you work together with other qualified teachers and resource persons. In Flex, you meet students who face challenges regarding safety and school attendance, and in some cases, neurodevelopmental disorders (ND/NPF). You are also expected to support students at the school within the framework of special support.

You are part of the student health team. As support in your work, there are ICT developers and school leadership available.

You who apply are:

• A licensed teacher and qualified to teach in several subjects in grades 7–9.
• A licensed special needs teacher, preferably with a focus on language, writing, and reading development.
• Reflective and committed to developing your work so that students succeed.
• Demonstrate good leadership skills and create a sense of security.
• Easily establish and maintain good relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Stand by the belief that the student's success is the school's responsibility.
